Made To Order — How It Works
One of the most pressing environmental issues in the fashion industry is overproduction. Research has revealed that between 20-30% of all clothing produced by fast fashion companies is never worn and is instead discarded.
It’s for this reason that we implemented PRE-ORDER or Made- To Order system.
This system allows customers to place orders for sustainable clothing in advance, so that we only produce and order the garments and fabrics that are necessary.
Since PRE-ORDER involves us not having thousands of pieces of sustainable clothing sitting in a warehouse, it takes some time for the made-to-order garments to be delivered.
At Wear & Smile, we prioritize patience, excellence, and morality over immediate gratification and immoral production techniques.
Our customers appreciate the value proposition we offer, as they are aware that their exclusive garment is being made specifically for them and will arrive in time for the season.
As a fact, our selection of sizes is limited.
Mostly all of our garments are Made-To-Order and limited edition, so you can be sure that you are getting a unique, ethical, and eco-friendly item. We have already found buyers for all of our products, so there is no fabric or inventory waste. Please allow approximately2-3 weeks for production.
